Hospitals are pushing back against the Biden administration’s request to cut carbon emissions amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Associated Press reported. On Monday, the administration began the new Office of Climate Change and Health Equity to push hospitals to engage in more environmentally friendly health practices to reduce carbon emissions. WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration on Monday launched a new health office that will prod hospitals to cut carbon emissions, aiming to provide greener, more environmentally friendly medical care.
